A Q&A with Maddy

A Q&A with Maddy

1.  How did you get into modelling and what do you love most about being a model and creative?
I got into modelling by accident actually. I went to a studio one day to get some actors headshots but then got creative with it and really enjoyed it by the end of the shoot. So that’s what sparked it. I’ve always just been a creative person having done visual arts throughout my life and love experimenting with new things. I’ve since brought that passion into my creative direction and Scouted Magazine.
2.  Can you tell us about your passion project, Scouted Magazine?

I started Scouted Magazine as a platform for creatives by creatives. I wanted to provide something boutique, accessible and diverse that embraces collaboration and community.

3.  How can you describe a perfect day for you, when you feel most at peace? Any daily rituals you might have to share for keeping you grounded.
The perfect day for me would be near the beach, painting and off all technology. Or a full day in Disneyland.

4.  What do you love about the Scout Set in Wood?
I love the set because it’s got a beautiful summer beach aesthetic. But it’s not limited to being “beachwear”.  I can see myself wearing it day to night as a cute casual outfit. It’s also incredibly soft and flowy with a flattering fit.
5.  What is your favourite/go-to piece of clothing/accessory in your capsule wardrobe?
I always love a good pair of boots! I’m also a massive lover of bootcut jeans, definitely the most flattering cut.
