Where Energy Goes Focus Flows

Where Energy Goes Focus Flows

I recently teamed up with a deeply connected and free spirited soul who I have had the honour of connecting with through social media to ask a few questions about who she is and how she stays grounded and inspired.
Her name is Rosemary Kunigan and you can follow her over on instagram @rosemaryretro.  I believe that you give life to what you put energy into. Where energy goes focus flows. Rosemary is not only a muse for her diverse style and colourful gypsy vibes but a powerful free thinker and influencer bringing light and joy into the world through her online presence which I hope can add value to yours in any small way.  She also created a gorgeous series of photos wearing her favourite Carlabella pieces from our 'Mystique' range.  Here's what Rosemary had to say.

1. How would you describe a perfect day for you, when you feel most at peace?
"I feel most at peace when I remember to live slow. Mornings spent surfing followed by an acai bowl are a must. Some days, I think that I have too much work to do and skip out on this activity, but I realise that to have a productive day, taking care of oneself is a must."

2. What drives and inspires you and what do you put most of your energy into- and where can you put more energy into?

"What inspires me is the belief that we can do anything. Given the potential of social media, any creative profession now-a-days has so much more access to opportunity. I put a lot of energy into growing my social media & sharing my work online because I know this energy is an investment in the long run."

3. Tell us something you love about yourself. If you had to describe yourself in three words what would they be?
"One thing I love about myself is how in touch with my inner child I am. I was never one to love school or want a traditional job, and found myself so happy as a creator. I can spend a day roller skating and if I get a few videos to post to social media from it, then it was a work day well spent. I'd describe myself as adventurous, open-minded, & creative."
4. Can you describe your relationship with mental health and well-being. Do you have any daily rituals or weekly practices/tools you feel that support you that you would like to share with us?
"Living with anxiety, there are times where my relationship with my mental health is not the best, but what has helped me is the understanding that everything is temporary & ever changing. This year - 2020, has been wild, uncertain, & even painful for most people. I've found that at times, social media can be a continuous reminder of everything negative happening in the world. I've found that it's best to unplug from social media every once and a while and do something that requires your full presence and mindfulness. This is why I love surfing, as you cannot have your phone out on the water. There are many things that can require your full attention, cooking, running, yoga, reading, and more."
5. What do you love about Carlabella as a brand?
"I love that Carlabella keeps the planet in mind when creating their items. It's more important now than ever before to be mindful of what we are creating, so to see a fashion brand practicing sustainability is wonderful. Carlabella's designs have such a beautiful & creative feminine energy."
